If it’s been a while since you’ve seen a dentist, a teeth cleaning may be necessary to get your pearly whites sparkling again. The different ways we blast away the grime to clean your teeth range from: routine cleaning, deep cleaning, and debridement.
Home Care Instruction
Spending the right amount of time engaged in appropriate home oral care is undoubtedly essential to helping minimize the risk of caries and periodontal disease. A beautiful, healthy smile that lasts a lifetime is our ultimate goal when treating patients. Your personal home care plays an important role in achieving that goal.
Gum Disease Treatment
Periodontal disease (also called gum disease) is more common than you may think. If you’ve been diagnosed, you can rest easy knowing that our team has extensive experience with periodontal disease and has successfully treated many patients.
Smile enhancement can have dramatic results on your overall appearance; even the smallest step can boost your confidence, self-esteem, and make you want to smile more. With modern advances in dentistry, cosmetic procedures can range from a basic color correction to replacing missing teeth, and everything in between.
Crowns & Bridges
A crown can help strengthen a tooth with a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth remaining to hold the filling. Crowns can also be used to attach bridges, protect a weak tooth from breaking or restore one that’s already broken. A crown is a good way to cover teeth that are discolored or badly shaped. It’s also used to cover a dental implant.
Dentures are removable appliances that can replace missing teeth and help restore your smile. If you’ve lost all of your natural teeth, whether from gum disease, tooth decay or injury, replacing missing teeth will benefit your appearance and your health.
Removable partial dentures usually consist of replacement teeth attached to pink or gum-colored plastic bases. We design a partial denture for you. A partial denture may have a metal framework and clasps that connect to your teeth, or they can have other connectors that are more natural looking. In some cases, a removable partial denture is made to attach to your natural teeth with devices called precision attachments.
Oral surgery treats a wide range of diseases and conditions, including: Tooth loss, Wisdom teeth extraction, Dental Implants, TJD, Unequal jaw growth, Jaw/mouth/teeth injury, Cleft lip and cleft palate repair, Extraction of teeth, Treatment of endodontal diseases, Esthetic aspects of the oral & maxillofacial regions, and Adjunctive treatments.
The association between dietary factors and adverse oral health outcomes is multi-factorial and complex with inter-related pathways between dietary intake, nutritional status, and lifestyle behaviors. Patients will be informed that not only the types of carbohydrates but how the frequency, consistency, and position of their consumption in meals can increase risk of dental caries.
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the joint that connects the jaw to the temporal bones of the skull. Temporomandibular joint disorder, known more commonly as TMD, occurs when there are problems with the muscles and jaws in the face. We can help make a proper diagnosis and treatment.
What They Say
“Dear Doctor Ishani,
You are amazing! Thank you so much for your kindness, caring and professional treatment. I’ve been to many dentists in my day, but you, by far, are the best. It felt as if I had taken my car to a full-on detailing shop vs a $6 wash. Your care was comforting and your technique was unparalleled. Thank you so much for everything. I will be sharing your card with many friends.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
Tom Gillen, President
And we are so glad she is! Dr. Ishani is a rare gem. Having lived in many states, I have experienced a good number of dental professionals over the years. However, I can say without hesitation, that Dr Ishani is a cut above! Her technique is flawless. Her knowledge of the latest methods, treatments and procedures is exceptional. But, most important, her caring and gentle touch is a rare quality. It is what sets her apart from the excellent professionals, elevating her, in my opinion, to the best dentist I have ever had the pleasure of caring for my dental needs. I will be back and I will not experience the usual stress associated with going to the dentist. Thank you Dr. Ishani!”
